Is cold-pressed food really better for my dog?
It depends on your dog, but cold-pressed has a few things going for it. It's made at low heat, so the nutrients and natural flavor stay intact. It leads with real meat and skips fillers. And because the pellet breaks down slowly instead of swelling, a lot of dogs find it easier to digest. It's also dense, so most dogs need about 30% less than kibble.
My dog has been picky for as long as I've had them. Will they adjust?
Most dogs do. It usually comes down to how gradual the switch is. Dogs who have been on kibble for years sometimes need a little extra time, so a slower 10 to 14 day transition can help. A bit of extra gas or softer stools during the change is normal and usually settles. Your first order comes with a daily feeding guide to walk you through it.
How do I store it, and how long does it last?
Keep it in the original resealable bag in a cool, dry place, away from heat and direct sunlight. It's shelf-stable, so it doesn't need refrigeration. Check the best-by date printed on the bag, and once it's opened, seal it after each use to keep it fresh.
